Drinking sufficient water and staying hydrated are essential for cycling. Your body produces heat while cycling and it must be dissipated by evaporating water from your skin. This in turn requires more intake of water. It is worth to drink one large water bottle of 750 ml per hour of riding. This is especially important if you ride in hot weather. Hydration systems help you stay hydrated and improve your cycling performance. In addition, drinking also helps you stay cool and comfortable.

Frame mounted system

Hydration system is nothing but a way of carrying a drink on a bike. You may not be able to stop at a shop or a café to drink water or juice on every ride. Hence, it is important to carry several bottles of water. Frame mounted bottle is the most commonly used hydration system during cycling. You can carry bottles in a cage on the frame. This method neither costs you more nor adds extra weight. It allows you to reach the bottles easily while you ride. You can go for a frame mounted system that is constructed with dual layer foam fabric that adds a bit of insulation. The system that comes with two Velcro tension straps to prevent bottles from shifting and tilting.Backpacking system

It is important to start drinking in the first fifteen minutes of a ride. Staying hydrated can help you avoid heat stroke, heat exhaustion and death. Backpack hydration system lets you quench your thirst and avoid dehydration while cycling. In this system, water and fluids are carried in a reservoir in a back pack and are delivered through a tube. The main advantage of using this system is that you can keep water clear of dirt. It is very easy to drink on the move, without disrupting your riding position. Backpack system allows you to carry larger volumes of fluids than other systems. This is especially useful for longer rides.

You can find backpacking hydration system in all shapes and sizes in the market. The dual chamber reservoir type is preferred by most cyclists as it helps to carry water and electrolyte drinks conveniently in one container. It features a dial that lets you choose water, electrolyte drink or a combination of both. As it features an on or off valve, it will not leak. It offers the most comfortable way to stay hydrated on long rides.

You can also choose a horizontal bladder that is anatomically designed to improve your comfort. It is lightweight and is easy to carry. It is designed with antimicrobial technology that reduces bacterial growth on the inner surfaces of the tube and the bladder. It features a large opening that makes it easy to clean and refill.

Tips

Before choosing a hydration system, it is worth considering the volume of liquid the system can carry. If you want to undertake all day rides, three litres of water is enough. You need to choose the system that comes with a comfortable to operate and a durable valve. Some valves have a tap to prevent leakage. The hydration system needs periodic cleaning. Hence, the system you want to choose should be easy to clean. If you want to choose backpacking system, ensure that it has broad adjustable straps at chest and waist, so that you can keep it secure on your body.

Proper Golf Grip Basics

Any PGA teaching professional will tell you that the foundation of a solid golf full swing is the proper grip. Here are the proper grip basics for the golf full swing:

Left Hand

1. Place grip across base of little finger and just above first joint of index finger. Apply pressure with your last three fingers.

2. Ensure pad of palm is on top of grip. Place your thumb just right of the shaft center.Right Hand

1. Place grip across base of fingers. Wrap fingers around underside of grip.
2. Fold lifeline of right hand over left thumb. Right hand pressure should be applied by middle two fingers.

Grip Alignment

Key checkpoints of proper grip:

1. Palms always face each other.
2. When looking down at grip, knuckles of the left hand forefinger and middle finger are visible.
3. Creases of thumbs and forefingers point between right side of face and right shoulder.
4. The hands should work together as one unit with neither dominating the other.

Golf Swing Setup

Right behind having the proper golf grip in levels of importance is setting up correctly to strike the golf ball. Here are a few full swing golf tips to ensure you are set up correctly for every golf shot.

1. In the beginning of your golf full swing setup, ensure your body is balanced and that your weight lies in the middle of your feet (not too much in toe or heels).
2. Once your body weight is balanced, tilt from your hips about 30 degrees to achieve the proper golf full swing spine angle.
3. Keep your knees flexed slightly.
4. Keep your back straight and your chin up and off your chest.
5. Let your arms hang freely with your hands below your shoulders.
6. For short irons (e.g., wedges, 9 irons, 8 irons), place your feet slightly more narrow than your shoulders.
7. For middle irons (5 to 7 iron), place your feet about shoulder width apart.
8. For longer irons and woods, place your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart. As we begin the golf season, it is helpful to review the fundamentals of the golf full swing.

Swimming is a wonderful water sport. The good thing about swimming is that it is a fun fitness activity that not only helps you get back into shape, but is also a highly accessible exercise that you can do all year round. Women enjoy a great time in the pool or even at the beach which is why it is necessary to invest on quality women swimsuits.

The good thing about swimwear these days is that you can do a whole lot more with them than we used to. You can swim, surf, walk around the beach or use it as a fashion statement. There are women swimsuits for all sizes, shapes, personal preference and ages. They are available in many colors, styles and for different functions.

The real problem is not having enough women swimsuits to choose from. The real issue is how to choose from a wide selection of swimwear for women that are available in shops or online. For this reason, here is a guide that can help you make the right choices in swimsuits. Here are some of the tips that can guide you in making the right decision of the perfect swimsuit for you:Find swimwear that is perfect for your body shape.

There are many styles of swimwear that are available on the market today. Choose the ones that will compliment your shape. This means that the swimsuit must be able to emphasize your beautiful physical assets, and hide the imperfections. Swimwear means less clothing, but you can definitely enhance the shape of your body by choosing suits that have the right cut and the right silhouette.

Wear the right size.

Some women might think that the tighter it is, the sexier it looks. Others may feel that their suits must come in a larger size to hide those unwanted bulges. You must always remember that selecting the right size of swimsuit will help accentuate your curves more and helps with the overall appearance.

Look for colors that compliment your complexion.

If you are well-tanned, then choose bright, sunlit colors. This will greatly compliment your skin tone and bring the youthfulness in you. If your complexion is fair, you can go both ways – either bright colors or go for the much darker colors. There are so many colors to choose from which is why you can never run out of options.

Scout for sun protective swimwear.

The good thing about swimwear these days is that they come with a value-adding feature. Look for swimwear that has UVB and UVA protection. This will help protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun and is a great addition to applying sunscreen lotion.

Ask yourself if you can afford it.

There are lots of wonderful swimwear that don’t have to cost you a ton of money to be able to wear. Choose the right swimwear that is within your budget.

Women swimsuits have gone beyond the ordinary swimwear to the most fashionable and most practical. Use these tips to help you make the right choice and still be fashionable while doing your favorite water sport.

Insider tips for choosing the best windsurfing holidays and getting a great windsurfing experience:

1. Decide whether to go ‘all inclusive’ with your windsurf holidays – as with any kind of holiday you will need to choose whether to have everything included: flight, accommodation, windsurf equipment rental and windsurfing lessons.

In favor of all-inclusive windsurfing holidays, they are usually a good deal in terms of price. You can relax and let others take care of your arrangements.

At the other end of the scale are the self-made windsurf holidays. You can tailor the experience exactly how you want it (not that it always goes to plan!). In terms of windsurfing equipment, by bringing your own, you can be in control of exactly what kit you will be using on your windsurf holidays but the cost of transportation (we are talking a few £100) can over shadow this freedom.

A good compromise would be to book some equipment for windsurf hire or windsurfing lessons at your chosen holiday destination but sort out your own travel & accommodation. This way you get the hassle free feel of having all the windsurfing equipment provided for you yet maintain an element of flexibility by being in charge of your own itinerary.2. Make sure the windsurfing equipment you will use is top rate – If you are taking your own equipment on your windsurfing holidays then there is no excuse for poor quality kit & only yourself to blame if is not up to a good standard.

If you are renting your equipment whilst on your windsurf holidays then make sure you specifically ask how old the equipment at the windsurf centre is! Have a look at the Poole Windsurfing School equipment page for an example of 1st class windsurfing equipment.

3. Check the forecast sites for good windsurfing conditions – With a weather dependant sports holiday such as windsurfing you really need to do your homework & look at a few of the top windsurfing weather forecast sites to get a good overall impression of the locations you are considering.

A good source listing the top wind forecast websites (which can be applied to most windsurfing destinations) can be found in this article about the Top Wind & Weather Forecast Websites.

4. Decide what you want to learn on your windsurfing holiday – Do you want just rent equipment and do your own thing or take windsurfing lessons to propel your skills to the next level?

It’s a good idea to pre-book at least some of your windsurfing lessons before you arrive, so that you start your windsurf holidays with a purpose! By picking out a good windsurfing school, talking with them about what level you are at & pre-booking some windsurfing lessons you will have a good action plan laid out before you even arrive to start your windsurfing holidays.

5. Make sure you have adequate windsurfing insurance – Last but not least, make sure you are adequately insured for all your windsurfing holidays. When you are out there in the elements, things may not always go to plan! You need to protect your windsurfing equipment against damage or theft and yourself against 3rd party claims arising out of incidents out on the water.
